Vincent Cannatello is the senior
pastor of Word of Christ International Church (WOCIC).
He and his wife Laura have four children: Steven Christian,
Jonathan and Jaclyn.
Called
to the ministry through a prophetic word in 1987, Pastor Vin
continued to pursue a successful career as a senior
technology advisor at a prominent New York investment bank
until 1997, when the Holy Spirit spoke to him that "now is the
time" of separation. Heeding the call, Pastor Vin and
his family relocated to Bradenton from New Jersey.
Soon after arriving, WOCIC was founded and
began to meet in a classroom at Haile Middle School.
After several years
at Haile, WOCIC moved to a building on State Road 70, where
they grew into a thriving family of passionate believers.
WOCIC now meets at Nolan Middle School while a recently
purchased building is being
renovated
Pastors Vin and Laura have a heart to see the Kingdom of God
become a reality in the lives of people. When visiting
WOCIC, they look forward to the opportunity of meeting you
and your family.
And make disciples of all
the nations ...
What is a worship service like at WOCIC?
Everything we do, we do with passion. We worship
with passion ... we teach the Word with passion ... we live
for the Lord with passion. We believe the Holy Spirit
has been given the church to help it mature and grow ...
as such, we give room for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to be
manifested in our services. Our desire is that WOCIC be a
place for people to experience the presence of God.
How should I
dress?
We believe you should feel comfortable, so casual dress
works just fine.
Is there a
ministry for children?
Yes. Michelle Noval overseas our Children's Church.
As parents ourselves, we believe we have a responsibility to encourage our children to walk
in the footsteps of Jesus ... and we carry that
responsibility into our children's ministry. We fully expect
to see our children filled with the Holy Spirit,
prophesying, laying hands on the sick and seeing them
recover and much more. We are excited about this next
generation of "Kingdom Builders".
