What can I do to help?
Get involved! We are asking everyone to pray about your
involvement. For a vision to become a reality it takes
commitment, courage, great faith and openness to God’s call.
The first step is to complete and submit the Commitment Card
… if you haven’t received one, please see an usher. Also, if
you have any questions, please ask!
How much should I give?
Truly this is a question only you can answer. The purpose
of the campaign is not intended for everyone to give equal
gifts rather equal sacrifice. In the end how much to give is
a personal decision for each one of us to decide. Above all,
we ask that whatever you give, do so with a willing,
thankful and joyful heart.
Can assets other than cash be given?
Yes. Many times gifts such as appreciated securities, real
estate or other marketable assets are committed to a
campaign such as this. Donors can benefit from favorable
treatment under current tax laws when appreciated assets are
contributed.
When will
the expansion project begin?
We
should
begin to see construction activity by
the third week of April.
How can I stay posted of developments?
The best way will be to check our website. We will post
significant construction activities as they occur.
How long is the campaign?
Our
goal
is
to
raise
all funds by the end of July, 2008.
Who is on the decision-making committee?
The
Building
Committee
is
comprised
of Pastor Vin, David Cole and
Fred Yohannan Sr. Chris Coffin and Bill Ramalho serve
as advisors. We are grateful for such committed and able
servants!
How will my contribution be used?
Every penny contributed as part of this campaign will be
used for the goals described here.
