MY WORLD CAME CRASHING DOWN!

by Joe Gadd (Zephyrhills, FL)

My name is Joe Gadd and I felt compelled by the Lord to tell what I experienced on the Encounter and how God transformed my life by the power of his precious Holy Spirit.

I am an Evangelist and have been preaching almost ten years, but about a year and a half ago after being engaged my world came crashing down around me when I found out she was sleeping with a guy in a southern gospel Quartet. I was hurt so bad that I just threw up my hands and quit. I walked away from the ministry, and although I kept attending church I lost the most important relationship of all. The one with my heavenly Father.

Instead of turning to him I secretly turned to drugs. After about 3 months of doing drugs and realizing that they couldn't fix my problem I quit. I have spent the last year trying to get back the relationship that I once had with God, but for a year I have walked around with the feelings of guilt, shame, unworthiness, and defeat. All the wile everyone around me at my home church thought things were o.k. You see when you walk with God under the power of His Anointing and turn your back on Him you seriously wonder if he will ever take you back.

I was invited to the Encounter at the last minute and thought it was a mistake because it looked like I wasn't supposed to be there. HOW WRONG I WAS!!!!! God cleared His schedule for 3 days just for me, and for 3 days the power of God enveloped my entire being. HE SET ME FREE!!! HE RESTORED ME!!!!! HE TRANSFORMED ME!!!! God wrapped me in His arms and I felt his love like never before, and it just keeps getting better.

If you are reading this it is not by mistake. If you have the opportunity to go to the Encounter you must go. For you, your family, for your church, and for those closest to you. God will meet you there. You will Encounter Him, and you will forever be changed!

If you wanna know, you gotta go!
