HE FILLED ME WITH FIRE AGAIN

by Will Alvarez (New York City, NY)

It's Will from the Encounter in NY. How are you? You don't know how much you guys ministered to us and served us. I was blown away with the whole weekend ... I told my wife she has to go to the Women's Encounter. I thank God for you Sam (McNatt), God poured out his love through you to me. I've been hurting for quite some time now and the Lord answered my prayers. Cause I was filling myself up with so much junk, but he filled me with the fire again. I hope all is well with you, the family and your business.

God is always good, I'm very excited that he blessed us with a baby boy. I want to teach him the things of God and how to be a godly young boy. I also want to make sure that the generational curse ends with me and doesn't continue; I think that's a big part of carrying on God's legacy from generation to generation to end generational curses.

Cause I always use to pray that I never be like my father; before I knew it and got saved I look at myself and said wow I am a split image of him. But I told myself I wouldn't carry on his ways and assured myself to be better than he is. Don't get me a wrong my father and mom are still together married, he took care of the family financial but he was never the father I wanted him to be. He never told me once that I could remember that he loved me. And it hurt me cause I was always looking for that. But I left that at the cross that weekend, and I forgave both of my parents cause I know they're not totally to blame. They weren't instituted those values as children so how could they pass them on to me and my sister. But as King David said in Psalms 27 "Though my father and mother forsake, the Lord will receive me." I know my parents love me but they don't show it the way I want them to. But I know God will always love me and give me his undivided attention. Praise the Lord.
