I BECAME CLOSER TO GOD

Before the Encounter I wasn't being the mother God intended me to be. I was very burnt out. I have two babies that are full of energy and only 11 months apart. I am blessed to be able to stay at home with my babies. My husband is in construction and works 30 minutes to an hour away from our home. We have only one vehicle. Therefore...... I am a STAY AT HOME mom.

My Encounter weekend I left the babies home with their daddy which was a first. At my Encounter I became closer to God and I did a lot of soul searching deep inside, which is something that can be scary. It was just an amazing weekend. On Sunday after the celebration service I could see that my babies had grown closer to my husband. My husband told me he had a great weekend with the kids and that he now understands what I do at home, so he's going to help out more! Praise God! Actions speak louder than words...... he really has been helping!

On Monday the enemy tried to come and take my joy. I was distracted with house chores and my kids were desperate for my attention. Before my Encounter I would have let the stress take over and I would have flipped my lid. I was blessed with a worship CD from one of my "purple hearts". I stopped everything went to the stereo played my worship cd, and spent 10 - 15 minutes dancing and praising with the kids. They got some energy out and started to play with some toys. I was able to return to what I was doing. It made a world of difference.

One of my friends called me to ask how my weekend was. I was still on fire and I got her on fire so we are both in prayer for God to provide our ways. Her participating and me as a server! We are so excited.
