I AM A NEW MAN

Wow! I have never experienced God in the way that I did at The Encounter. I entered the weekend severely wounded, carrying a huge burden of abuse, rage, abandonment, and a whole lot of other things that ripped my heart apart.  My Creator exposed the sins against me and those I have committed against others, forgave with awesome mercy and grace, and he freed me from the bonds of those sins. I have found the joy in God, which provides strength!

I have walked with Christ for over 20 years, but never have I felt like a new creation like the new man the Bible discusses. I felt as if I had missed the transforming and sanctification process Scripture promises. I now have experienced what it means to be a new man, to walk with Jesus freely, to fully experience His love, grace and forgiveness. God met me at the Encounter in a way I never anticipated, He blew the doors away that locked my heart.

I am confident that God has now enabled me to be a husband my wife has dreamed about. A father who trains and blesses his children. I am sure that there are many battles before me, I am now well equipped and if I walk in what I learned, I will emerge victorious and glorify our Lord.
